The Reporting Cadence setting governs how frequently Holly will generate reports for you, and the available date ranges and trendings in Analytics.
The best setting for your business will depend on how frequently you interact with customers; more frequent interactions give rise to more frequent survey invites and more data being collected which, in turn, supports a faster reporting cadence and more frequent reporting.
It also depends on the kinds of CSAT programs you run. Relationship CSAT is typically annual or 6-monthly and so your reporting cadence should match that; there's no point reporting on a month where no relationship CSAT was run and there's no data to report on.
Conversely, for Transactional and Open CSAT you will collect feedback continuously and so reporting cadence is wholly volume dependent.
In almost all cases, the cadence setting should be left to Auto so the platform can configure automatically based on your CSAT programs and data volumes.
